Steel

Steel construction has been am enduring fascination since I began to make drawings and paintings of the Hudson Yards rising in 2016. Notable steel structures under construction that I have recorded in New York City include the Shed, Manhattan West, One Vanderbilt, 435 Park Avenue, and most recently, the Spiral, the Perelman Performing Arts Center in the WTC and 270 Park. My Steel artworks are the subject of a December 2021 article and podcast in Modern Steel magazine.
